18 Dec 2019 LASER COMPONENTS partner with Omega Optical for precision optical filter coatings. Almost any of our optical filter coatings which can be produced on flat glass may also be deposited on fibre tips, including AR, bandpass, long and short pass, and partial reflectors.
Fibres are coated mounted in custom jigs, either bare, tapered, lensed or with different types of connectors (FC, ST, SC etc). Both single and multi-mode fibres can be coated with robust coatings which allow for a coated tip to be connected to an uncoated tip.
