Knight Optical’s Homogenizing Rods for Electrical Instruments

Available as custom-made components only, Knight Optical’s Homogenising Rods are used within Electrical Instruments to help illuminate and evenly distribute light sources.

 Manufactured from BK7 (or equivalent) and UV Grade Fused Silica (or other optical glass), dependent on your precise specifications and wavelength requirements, our premium quality Homogenising Rods achieve a uniform homogenised illumination output of non-uniform light sources.

 Our customised offering allows you to choose the dimensions, optical coatings, tolerances and shapes (including square tapered and hexagonal types) of your custom-made Homogenising Rods. What’s more, upon request, we also offer Light Pipe Homogenising Rod Holders for seamless integration with any application.

 Typical Specs:

Material:  BK7 (or equivalent), UV Grade Fused Silica or other optical glass

Length tolerance: +/- 0.3mm

Aperture tolerance: +/-0.1mm
