H0-Series - Configured with a Silicon or InGaAs APD

The performance of an APD is often limited by the preamplifier which needs to be chosen in such a way that the signal to noise ratio is optimised. LASER COMPONENTS can offer its customers a complete integrated solution with the preamplifier matched to the APD. From our research and production facility in Arizona we supply customers all over the world with our H series detectors.
The H0-Series can be configured with either a Silicon or InGaAs APD and is housed in a hermetically sealed, modified 5 pin TO-46 package which contains the optimised low noise hybrid preamplifier,
The InGaAs APD chips have an active element diameters of 80 and 200 microns covering the wavelength range 1000-1650nm and offer bandwidths up to 80MHz and a single ended output. The peak sensitivity of the device is at 1550nm and the device has a responsivity of 0.1MV/W at this wavelength. The devices are used extensively in laser range finding, LIDAR and medical applications.
We can also supply the receiver with a high voltage module to bias the APD, we would recommend either the ABC550-04 or dBC series.
