06 Aug 2019 OPG offers national laboratory traceable line width and thin prism artifacts to calibrate the PSM for spatial scale and for converting the spatial scale to angle. Both artifacts calibrate the PSM independent of objective and camera used. The spatial scale artifact is a 2.5” square by 1 mm thick substrate with a 1” square, chrome on glass, square wave grating with a spacing of 4 lp/mm. The angle calibration artifact is a 1” diameter, unmounted, bare glass window with a 30 arc minute wedge. Both calibration artifacts come with Certificates of measurement showing traceability.
