Single Photon Counting Modules - COUNT®

Capitalising on expertise in the manufacture of silicon avalanche photodiodes (APDs) since 2004, LASER COMPONENTS produced the COUNT® series of single counting photon modules, with unrivalled quantum efficiency of >70% in the red region with dark counts of ® modules feature a robust design combining low noise APDs with specially developed quenching and signal processing electronics. TTL output is provided corresponding to incoming photons.
Modules are optimised for spectral regions from the initial COUNT® for the red spectrum, COUNT® BLUE for blue and green regions and COUNT® NIR for 810nm. The COUNT® S offers a passively quenched module featuring a larger active area for a low cost alternative to the original COUNT®. COUNT® T is designed specifically for time-correlated single photon counting applications. Optional free space or MM fibre coupled input provides a convenient method for sampling.
