09 Jul 2019 The hr342 with CoaXPress interface is SVS-Vistek's latest industrial camera. Its features predestine it for many demanding applications in quality control. SVS-Vistek's cutting-edge technology enables the highest speed with the best image quality.
Excellent sensor
The Sony IMX342 sensor with 31 megapixels captivates with an image quality far above standard in this resolution. Fixed-Pattern-Noise and Signal-to-Noise Ratio are at the highest level. The result is excellent flatness and a very convincing dynamic range of more than 70 dB. The basis of this high performance level is the outstanding pixel architecture of the very light-sensitive Sony Pregius 2 sensor. For the pixel size of 3.45 µm, there is a good selection of high-quality, but inexpensive lenses on the market.
Fastest IMX342 camera on the market
With a frame rate of 35.4 fps, the hr342 from SVS-Vistek is currently the fastest camera on the market with the high-quality Sony IMX342 sensor. This is made possible by the sensor's new Sony SLS-EC protocol and the CoaXPress interface. A clever implementation of the interface and a housing design with outstanding heat dissipation ensures a low operating temperature, which in turn enables low image noise.
CoaXPress in the High End
The CoaXPress interface is not only fast, it also offers long, thin data lines and a power supply for the camera via the data cables. Thus, CoaXPress offers many advantages. But if you can live with a 10% lower frame rate and need the flexibility of GigE, the hr342 is also available with a 10 GigE interface. This model combines the flexibility of GigE with nearly the speed of CoaXPress. The CoaXPress variant is already available as a sample for customers; the 10 GigE version will be available soon. With both a CoaXPress and 10 GigE interface, the hr342 always offers cutting-edge technology in camera construction. |
