Precision Molded Glass Optics

FISBA’s Precision Molded Glass Optics enable some of the most sophisticated applications for the defense industry, such as visible and infrared target acquisition, vision systems for low light/haze/fog conditions, imaging systems for helmet mounted displays, laser range finders and more.

Our precision glass molding capabilities include aspheres, spherical, free forms, arrays, diffractives, off-axis, plano-convex, single and double-sided lenses for the visible and infrared spectrums.

FISBA lenses are lightweight and compact, starting with diameters as small as 2.5 mm up to 50 mm. We achieve the high-performance specifications that are required for defense applications like visible and infrared target acquisition, vision systems for low light/haze/fog conditions, imaging systems for helmet mounted displays, laser range finders and more. Our lenses are cost competitive and available from small batch prototypes to high volume serial production.

 We also provide:

- Polishing (spherical, flat, prism, aspherical)

- Coatings (AR, mirror, dichroic, polarization, structures)

- Micro Optics and assemblies (components down to 300µm, assemblies down to 700µm)

FISBA’s customer focused services range from ideation to device development support, engineering, supply chain optimization, to device assembly operations, all at our purpose-built facilities that support stringent market requirements while protecting our customers’ intellectual property. Our US production facility in Tucson, Arizona is AS9100D certified and ITAR compliant.
