Sydor Optics provides custom and standard laser line windows, turret windows, vacuum windows, debris shields, viewing panels and instrumentation viewing glass used for military, exploration and safety purposes.

Large format glass requires very specific capabilities for handling, transporting, and Sydor Optics offers the most double-sided polishing capabilities in the USA. With our CNC glass machining and laser machining capabilities, we can frequently create standard or custom solutions for your prototyping and volume glass.

Size is not an issue, nor is quality. Sydor offers glass fabrication and polishing up to 600 mm in diameter, resulting in glass that is optically transparent, offers excellent parallelism and transmitted wavefront, as well as the option of specialized surface coatings. With the recent purchase of an Optilux SD, we now offer fully-automated scratch-dig recording, measurement and PDF reporting of testing.
