AUREA Technology shows its enhanced TCSPC instrument

AUREA Technology, leader in Single Photon Counting, is releasing its enhanced all-in-one Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting LYNXEA TCSPC instrument with picosecond resolution. The LYNXEA TCSPC instrument brings a real breakthrough in Quantum Key Distribution, photon sources characterization and any photon coincidence measurements of low-level-of-light and fast events in the visible [400 nm to 900 nm] and in the near infrared [900 nm to 1,700 nm].

Very-well engineered the LYNXEA TCSPC is the only plug-and-play and complete Time-Correlated Single Photon Counter solution available in today’s industry. This smart and cost-effective TCSPC solution integrates within the same box, one or two independent Geiger-mode single photon counting avalanche photodiodes (SPAD), fast timing electronics, pulse generator and modern interfaces. Self-contained, the LYNXEA TCSPC does not require any additional electronics board.

The LYNXEA TCSPC operates in Master/Slave configurations and features dual photon counting detection mode (free-running and gated) for any type of synchronous or asynchronous measurements configuration.

In addition, a user-friendly Graphical User Interface software is provided to control all the photon counting parameters as well as its time correlator. Thus, the LYNXEA TCSPC module can be controlled either via an external computer by its USB interface or by its front-panel tactile display. DLL library compatible to LabVIEW, C++ and the most well-known programming languages are provided.
