LASER COMPONENTS’ OT-4040 laser alignment system is a multi-target,

displacement monitoring system which can track up to 8 individual points along a

laser line at distances of up to 100m with a target resolution of 0.01mm. Featuring

a precision-ground 2.2498” outer diameter, the OT-4040 was designed to replace

the old and sometimes unreliable optical alignment telescopes with a simple laser

solution.

The live targets are coupled with a display which outputs the real-time XY position of

the laser within the target, therefore instead of having to adjust, measure, then repeat,

a user can adjust their system on-the-fly. The targets also feature the same precisionground

2.2498” outer diameter as the laser, meaning previous optical alignment

telescope mounts can be used.

The OT-4040 has been designed to be simple to install, where a new user can have

a full, 8 target system set up and displaying measurements within 5 minutes. All

components are pre-calibrated before leaving the factory, with no on-site calibration

required. All lasers, targets, and displays are battery powered, providing up to 12

hours of continuous operation.
