Our highly popular FLEXPOINT® laser module range has enjoyed a huge level of

success over the last 5 years and thanks to this success and for your feedback on

how we can continue to improve our products we are pleased to announce the

newest generation of machine vision laser modules premiered at LASER World of

PHOTONICS 2017!

Along with the introduction of the MV18; a rugged, M18 threaded laser which can

operate at temperatures as low as -20°C, we have reworked and enhanced the

MVnano, Mvpico, and MVfemto, to provide better functionality and flexibility:

Until now, each laser variant has only been available as a complete module; however

where customers are looking to drive their lasers using their own circuitry or separate

the electronics from the optical head, more flexibility is required. To address this we

have split each laser into four variants:

• standard modules, including focussing optics and drive electronics

• low cost fixed-focus versions (pre-set during production)

• optics-only versions for integration into systems with laser driving capabilities

• space-saving versions where the optical head is separated via fibre to the electronics

As with all FLEXPOINT® laser modules, the MV series is further customisable and can

be modified for your specific and unique application.
