LASER COMPONENTS is pleased to announce new distribution rights to products

from Coherent Solutions for pulse measurement and modular test and measurement

equipment.

The modular test platform provides a cost effective, scalable and flexible solution,

suitable for both production and R&D environments. Each function required for an

optical test, for example tuneable lasers, VOA, and detector, comes on a separate

‚Blade‘. Blades are fitted into a chassis and controlled by the same software interface.

Optical pulse analysis is performed by the IQFrog. Based on the principle of

frequency-resolved optical gating (spectrally resolved SHG autocorrelator), the

IQFROG can be used to measure the intensity and phase of laser pulses in both

spectral and temporal domains, to provide a complete pulse characterisation.

Coherent Solutions manufactures the products in New Zealand, and are experts in

building customised solutions.
