Infra Red Linear Variable Filters from Vortex Optical Coatings | |
26 Jan 2017 A Linear Variable Filter (LVF) is a single filter where the performance profile shifts gradually from one end of the filter to the other in a continuous maner. The combination of an LVF and suitable detector can replace a large number of components thus saving vast amounts in space, cost, weight and time. Vortex manufactures three stock LVF filters, they cover the following ranges: (i) 2.5 - 5.0 µm. (ii) 1.2 - 2.5 µm. (iii) 0.9 - 1.70 µm. We have the capability to manufacture custom LVF'swithin this range to suit your needs and welcome the opportunity to discuss specific applications in confidence.
