Ultra-Low Noise Lock-In Amplifier with Intuitive User-Interface

18 Aug 2016

The MFLI 500 kHz/ 5 MHz lock-in amplifier is used for precise phase and amplitude measurement and comes with an integrated data and web-server. The hardware sets a new ultra-low noise standard for lock-in amplifiers; with an input noise of 2.5 nV/√Hz for frequencies >1 kHz and only 7 nV/√Hz at 10 Hz, even the weakest signals can be captured very quickly.

It is not only the hardware specifications that are outstanding. The included LabOne software is platform independent and has a browser based user interface which visualizes the settings and signal processing path for each of up to 4 demodulators. This intuitive interface makes it easy to use the instrument and helps to optimize instrument settings and measurement performance.

The LabOne software also provides a unique tool-set for signal analysis: in addition to the lock-in amplifier there is a sweeper/frequency analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope and FFT spectrum analyzer. This allows for a significant reduction in the complexity of your test setup and gives a good overview of all the important measurement and instrument parameters.

The Zurich Instruments MFLI lock-in amplifier is a flexible measurement instrument, designed for a broad range of applications from photonics, low temperature physics, impedance measurements, ultrasonic measurements and MEMS characterization, through to quantum- and nano-electronics.
