26 Feb 2016 TOPTICA’s frequency comb DFC-CORE convinces with completely new technology and ultra-low noise levels. This frequency comb is the ultimate reference for optical frequencies and is now available in a compact one-box format. The fiber-based system uses difference frequency generation to create an offset-free output at 1550 nm which can easily be converted to any desired wavelength from 420 - 2200 nm with additional wavelength extensions. It achieves a low phase noise of less than 32 mrad and requires no active stabilization.
