Qioptiq’s iFLEX-Gemini 2-in-1 laser is now 1/10th the size of an argon laser with the same power

The Qioptiq iFLEX-Gemini™ 2-line laser system is now only 1/10th the size of an argon laser with the equivalent output power.  Its small size makes it simple to use as a drop in replacement for many argon ion and argon krypton gas lasers.

This all solid-state laser system provides excellent power stability and low noise performance, throughout its long lifetime. As standard, the iFLEX-Gemini is offered with up to 50mW power per wavelength and co-axial, combined output beam.  Wavelength control is completely independent of each other. This means independent control for laser on/off, power adjustment and modulation, so they may emit in any series or simultaneously. Standard wavelength pairs include: 405/640nm, 405/445nm, 405/488nm, 488/515nm, 445/515nm, 488/561nm, 488/640nm. Other wavelength pairs are available on request.

The iFLEX-Gemini has many options for single-mode fiber delivery. The fibers can be fitted when the laser is ordered or later on, by anyone as an after-sale accessory.
