Crystal IS Optan UVC LED now in Flat Window TO-39

The new Flat Window version of Crystal IS’s OPTAN UVC LED offers a wide radiation pattern with a viewing angle of 115°. With flexibility to modify the emission pattern, and greater tolerance in alignment with fibre, these LEDs are ideal for spectroscopic applications in analytical and life sciences instrumentation.

Available in 2 peak wavelengths of 255nm and 280nm, this device gives light output of > 1mW with a max current drive of 100mA in continuous mode and typical L50 lifetime of 3000 hours at 100mA.

The narrow spectrum enables elimination of filters, thus reducing overall system cost.

OPTAN Flat Window is available in a hermetic through hole TO-39 package and is RoHS compliant.
