UV-Enhanced Silver Mirror Coatings

Acton Optics’ new enhanced-silver broadband coatings provide UV reflectivity while maintaining high reflectance to the mid-IR. The coating overcomes the reflectivity limitation of silver below 450nm, delivering high broadband reflectivity (typically >98%) from 400nm to the mid-IR. These coatings are suited for military optics, telescopes, spaceflight hardware and analytical instruments.
