Admesy Hera series spectrometer

16 Sep 2015

The Admesy Hera spectrometer range offers an ideal combination of accuracy and speed in a robust and compact housing for a broad range of measurements. Applications can range from development and sample-based quality inspection in the R&D lab to 24/7 inline use in production environments.

The Hera is available in various spectral ranges ranging from UV and VIS up to NIR all with excellent linearity and dark compensation. Besides spectral analysis, it measures colour in x,y, and parameters like for example colour rendering index (CRI), correlated colour temperature (CCT) and luminance.

To suit all measurement needs all Hera ranges are available in different optical configurations: lens based systems for spot measurements on for example displays; cosine corrector systems for diffuse measurements of light sources or an optical fiber connection to connect the Hera to different optics such as lenses, integrating spheres or sampling probes. In combination with the Admesy sampling accessories the Hera is an ideal plug and play spectrometer suitable for today’s high-end markets.

Besides the flexibility of its numerous configurations, the Hera’s strength is its ease of use and robustness: its software package ensures Admesy’s typical user friendly operation and since all calculations are done inside the device there is no need for external calculation power. This ensures flexible and easy integration in production systems without the need and time for additional software compensations. USB, RS 232 and Ethernet connections as well as trigger in- and out are standard on the entire Hera series further supporting direct integration in production environments.

Hera spectrometers are designed with the harsh demands and environment of the production line in mind. A compact and robust casing ensures easy mounting and protection of the device to guarantee continuous operation in production environments.
