04 Aug 2015 PPD provides custom fabrication and IBS coating services to a wide variety of optics and photonics customers, both big and small. We are now able to offer adhesive-free, precision beam splitter cubes for high power laser applications in the visible and near-infrared.
Our engineering team has recently developed an epoxy free optical assembly process to use as an alternative to existing adhesive based techniques specifically for those applications where outgassing and laser damage threshold are primary concerns. Utilizing this process along with our ion-beam-sputtering (IBS) coating capability, we can now provide high-precision polarizing and non-polarizing assemblies with high transmission, high extinction ratio and l/10 wavefront quality.
PPD’s custom high-energy beam splitter cubes are currently available for single and narrow-band laser wavelengths from 355nm to 2000nm and in sizes from 2x2 mm3 to 12.7x12.7 mm3. |
