New Rotary Stage Delivers High Torque and Precision

Zaber’s new X-RST-DE motorized rotation stages have built-in controllers and direct reading encoders with 0.2 arc sec resolution, providing high stage accuracy to 0.01 degrees.

Rated for a 50 kg centered load capacity and 10 N-m of torque, these stages are ideal for high load and high precision angular positioning applications.

The stages have a 50.8 mm (2 inch) aperture and kinematic mounting options for easy and repeatable assembly and set-up. The built-in controller reduces cable clutter and overall cost, and allows for daisy-chaining with several units per chain to a single power source.

Different versions are available with just built-in controllers, and motor encoders for slip/stall detection and automatic recovery.
