Laser Quantum’s Ground-Breaking Ti: Sapp Releases!

Laser Quantum is launching THREE revolutionary ultrafast products at Photonics West – the “venteon CEP” – a CEP stabilised, few-cycle, sub-5fs  laser, the much-anticipated  “taccor tune” tunable 1GHz femtosecond laser and our new model “HASSP THz” transmission and reflectance mode THz time domain spectrometer. Our CW range also features exciting new capabilities!

Laser Quantum will be exhibiting at BiOS and Photonics West in San Francisco February 7^th-12^th, and as usual will be launching innovative new products with revolutionary capabilities, based on unique, patented technologies. We will have the venteon ultra operating on our booth, demonstrating its sub-5fs pulse duration and octave-spanning bandwidth. This laser forms the base for the CEP stabilised venteon CEP5 with a measured pulse width of <5.5fs, and the venteon dual that benefits from a second output at 1030nm, making it ideal for the front end of an Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplifier.

Also at the show for the first time is the taccor tune, the only commercially available hermetically sealed, wavelength tunable femtosecond laser operating at 1GHz. This laser is ideal for such applications as time domain spectroscopy and two photon microscopy, where the easily (touch screen) controlled wavelength provides flexible excitation for a range of fluorescent dyes.

We will also be exhibiting the HASSP-THz time domain spectrometer that now operates in both reflectance and transmission mode, our torus single mode lasers with opus 660 – the highest powered red DPSS laser available and the finesse pure CEP, the only pump laser with a port for direct modulation of output power for CEP stabilisation.
