Large aperture mechanical adaptive optics for intense laser suitable for UHV applications

MD-AME deformable mirror is based on electro-mechanical patented actuators for wave-front correction of intense laser beams. The design allows an accurate wave front correction with high dynamic without print-through effect. Linearity is excellent, hysteresis is very low and the mirror is stable even unpowered, providing a very high electromagnetic immunity. Actuators and optical surface are exchangeable.

Thanks to special materials and assembly methods, the MD-AME range is now available for UHV environment (10^-8mbar). It can be adapted to very large beam diameters (up to 800mm).
