08 Jan 2015 A new 100W wavelength stabilized 976nm laser diode mainly for fiber laser pumping application was introduced to the market. Utilizing Volume Bragg Grating the emitting wavelength is stabilized at 976nm, showing a very small wavelength-temperature shift of 0.02nm/°C and wavelength-current shift of 0.05nm/A. The diode is pigtailed with a 105/125µm, 0.22NA optical bare fiber which is easily to be spliced to the combiner. A SMA905 connector can be added as option.
The diode is based on single emitters with low operating current and hermitically sealed ensuring long lifetime and reliability. Thermistor and photodiode are already integrated as standard accessories.
PhotonTec Berlin is now able to provide a series of standard 976nm wavelength stabilized laser diodes at 7W, 27W, 55W and 100W. Intermediate power level and other wavelengths such as 981nm are also available to match specific applications.
