24 Nov 2014 LASER COMPONENTS has now released a new iteration of the tremendously successful LCSA and LCIA APD modules, called the A-CUBE. These highly miniaturised modules have an edge length of only 40mm and can be used for fW optical power detection with a direct RF output and high bandwidth capabilities.
The A-CUBE uses our patented low noise APD receivers, featuring an integrated preamplifier, temperature compensation and high voltage source allowing operation across a wide temperature range at a constant amplification; available with either Si or InGaAs based APDs covering the spectral ranges between 260-1700nm.
