Shorter Dead Times with COUNT® Modules

The dynamic range of single photon detectors is an important parameter.  LASER COMPONENTS has reduced the dead time of the COUNT^® photon counters from 55ns to 42ns, resulting in a maximum count rate of more than 23MHz.

In additional, the tolerance range of the supply voltage has increased, allowing the COUNT module to react less sensitively to voltage peaks and small deviations in the supply voltage.  The detectors are operated at 12V.
