Caspian C-39N0-16: the first C-Mount lens with integrated Liquid Lens Auto Focus

Varioptic, a Business Unit of Parrot SA, proposes the world’s first C-Mount lens with integrated Liquid Lens Auto Focus. With its 16 mm effective focal length and 2/3” sensor compatibility, the Caspian C-39N0-16 is designed to bring Liquid Lens performance to standard machine vision cameras.

Its built-in driving electronics accepts I²C, RS232, SPI and analog inputs under 5 to 24V power supply, offering maximum versatility. The integrated Arctic 39N0 liquid lens enables fast and smooth focus from 10 cm to infinity.

The Caspian C-39N0-16 module is the perfect choice for highly demanding applications where image quality, speed of focus and industrial-grade robustness are a must, such as machine vision, automated inspection, barcode reading, biometrics and medical imaging.

This new lens can now be ordered from Varioptic and its distributors, as well as a Caspian C Evaluation and Development Kit including a Caspian C-39N0-16 lens, a USB adaptor, driving software and libraries, plus an extensive set of documentation.
