PixelSensor™ multispectral sensors use exclusive on-chip filtering to pack up to eight wavelength-selective photodiodes into < 1 cm2 for simpler and smaller optical devices. One PixelSensor replaces several components, delivering more signal and shrinking multispectral instruments from portable spectroscopy to fluorescence detection. PixelSensor VIS splits the visible spectrum into eight discrete color bands. Customized OEM versions are available with user-defined spectral bands and package options. PixelSensor’s unique wafer-level optical filters suppress background light and enhance passband transmission.

The NEW PixelSensor™ Developer Board is a powerful yet easy-to-use toolkit for developing and prototyping multispectral sensors using PIXELTEQ’s wavelength-selective photodiode arrays. The Developer Board includes hardware and software tools that allow designers and engineers to experiment and create multi-wavelength sensors in a remarkably small and simple footprint – reducing development costs and accelerating time-to-market.
