New Fianium FemtoPower1060 with enhanced pulse-width specification: | |
08 Aug 2014 Fianium announce improved pulsewidth specifications of less than 250 femtoseconds on their suite of high power femtosecond fiber lasers. The FemtoPower1060 (FP-1060) range of high power ultrafast fiber lasers utilizes efficient pulse compression to provide high quality optical pulses with femtosecond pulse widths. The FP-532 version adds fully integrated second harmonic generation (SHG). Designed for the most demanding scientific and industrial applications, the laser delivers very high average power while maintaining exceptional fiber laser beam quality. IR powers of 1W, 2W and 5W and a 1W SHG model all offer the new shorter femtosecond pulsewidths as standard with custom versions providing less than 200fs. The very high peak power pulses are ideal for multiphoton microscopy, SHG imaging and nonlinear spectroscopy. The FP-1060 and FP-532 utilize an inherently robust all-fiber design allowing for unprecedented levels of reliability from an ultrafast laser. In addition, the systems are easy to use, maintenance-free, air-cooled and require no alignment.
