New version piezosystem jena-ServiceTool 1.2 for digital piezo electronics with extended and improved functions

30 Jul 2014

The advanced ServiceTool from piezosystem jena is now available in version 1.2. The program is used for the controlling of piezo-actuators by the digital amplifiers d-Drive and 30DV50 from piezosystem jena. Therefore the ServiceTool uses a graphical user interface (GUI) and a terminal program.

By the use of the ServiceTool you can adjust many preferences for the actuators. For example function generators and filters can be set, such as slew rate and bit-controller. Also exact trigger values can be set with the d-Drive. Thus the user is able to adjust and coordinate essential functions and parameters easily. This relates to the implementation of more complex functions till reading out data. Furthermore, the individual measurements of the actuators can be shown in a diagram.

Characteristics

  • operation: ServiceTool with GUI (graphical user interface) or HyperTerminal for text-based communication
  • communication: USB or RS 232
  • graphical display and output variance analysis
  • error detection

Commands / functions

  • text fields for command input and amplifier feedback
  • input of sine-, triangle-, square function, sweep and noise
  • filter: trigger values set (d-Drive), slew-rate, bit-controllers, function generators
  • switching between open-loop (OL) / closed-loop (CL)
  • output, readback of voltage (OL) and location (CL)

Minimum requirements: operating system from Windows XP, 32 or 64 bit, .NET-Framework 2.0.
