25 Mar 2014 Scottish based company Optoscribe is pleased to announce the addition of a new 8 channel multicore fibre fanout device.
Unlike other approaches, the 3D Optofan Series offers a standard 8 core configuration that can be easily customised to suit Multicore fibre geometry. This enables users to dramatically increase the amount of data that can be transferred across an optical fibre, thereby reducing cabling costs and dimensions whilst maximising data bandwidth. Ideal for applications where space is at a premium and high bandwidth connectivity is essential.
The new 8 channel fanout joins the 3D Optofan Series of products that already include 4,7, and 19 channel devices.
