New Fianium WhiteLase™ SC480-20 supercontinuum laser with over 20W total power

Fianium have introduced the WhiteLase™ SC480-20, the world’s highest brightness supercontinuum laser with an unprecedented 20W of total power. This new system has over 3W power in the visible region (350-750nm), 4.5W of extended visible power (350-850nm), and a continuous output spectrum from <480nm to >2400nm.

The WhiteLase™ SC480-20 produces picosecond pulses at 80MHz repetition rate, which can be varied down to 100kHz with the pulse picker option, enabling a host of new application possibilities in both steady state and lifetime measurements. The WhiteLase™ SC480-20 sets a new standard for supercontinuum output power and is approximately three times brighter than its nearest competitor. It has the same intuitive, touch screen control as Fianium’s range of extended blue and extended UV lasers, and operates with all plug-and-play spectral filtering accessories. The rigorous internal testing ensures users of a high level of reliability even at these power levels.
