10 Oct 2013 The Picolo HD cards are high-performance PCIe video capture cards compatible with SDI, HDMI, DVI and analog cameras. They acquire high-definition (various resolutions up to 1920 x 1080) color video signals (SDI, HDMI, DVI/D, DVI/A or YPbPr) from one HD camera in a pc environment. They come with window drivers (featuring an easy-to-use proprietary C API) as well as DirectShow drivers (for compatibility with third-party applications).
Field of Applications
The Picolo HD acquisition cards are dedicated to PC-based medical devices (for dental or image-guided surgery applications), laboratory or measuring microscopes.
These cards also target single-camera applications requiring high-definition such as for video surveillance equipment or for on-site quality control in industrial environment. The Picolo HD brings to these applications the clarity of real-time, high-definition 1080p video.
