09 Oct 2013 With a focus on simplifying the connection and use of position sensing detectors (PSDs), bi-cells, and quadrant photodiodes, LASER COMPONENTS is pleased to announce the OT-301NC versatile position sensing amplifier board. With a DB9 connector to receive the data from your PSD, bi-cell, or quadrant photodiode, and BNC cable outputs for the X, Y, and sum of the voltages, the OT-301NC is the easiest method of processing raw position data on the market.
The OT-301NC can read and process signals from a large selection of devices, such as one-dimensional common anode and cathode PSDs, two-dimensional duo-lateral, tetra-lateral, and pin cushion PSDs, and common anode and cathode quad and bi-cells. The amplifier board can process the position data of these devices using a direct current or up to a frequency of 15kHz with a wide dynamic range of 0.1µA to 1.5mA, and features calibration adjustment, zero offset/nulling, and automatic detector biasing for easy device setup and calibration.
The OT-301NC board is designed for integration into existing systems, however LASER COMPONENTS can also provide the OT-301C external casing to house the board in a compact (HxWxD) 38.1mm x 139.7mm x 152.4mm casing for bench top and laboratory applications.
With the same goal of removing the calibration and setup time of position sensing equipment, LASER COMPONENTS also offers a range of position sensing modules (PSMs). These are a range of PSDs housed in a case with a DB9 connector, designed to be plugged directly into the OT-301NC. These modules are available in sizes up to 30mm (one-dimensional PSDs) or 45x45mm (two-dimensional PSDs).
