02 Aug 2013 Today we release a new version 1.1 of our software LED Optics Designer. Following major changes were made:
• export of simulated intensity distribution to IES file (IESNA-LM-63 format) is added;
• raytracing through axisymmetrical optical elements is accelerated (speed up is from 1.5 to 5 times relatively to the 1.0 version);
• possibility to set rotational symmetry to the illuminance map is added;
• optimization options are updated and a new optimization weight for map uniformity is added. Also we implemented a new optimization mode – optimization of light distribution profile (it can be more effective for axisymmetrical problems because in this case the control of the light distribution in central region is much better);
• module of license control is updated. From now LED Optics Designer can be run on computers with proxy-based access to the internet.
