output power from a multi-single emitter based 450nm, 400-micron, 0.22NA, fiber-coupled module developed for cinema projection and medical applications.
Through the optimization of optical parameters, DILAS’ modular multi-single emitter architecture delivers high beam quality and high power using DILAS’ expertise in beam shaping and fiber coupling. The result is enhanced scalability, beam quality and fiber coupling efficiency.
DILAS’ 450nm fiber-coupled, multi-single emitter module offers significant advantages in efficiency, foot-print and reliability over conventional lamp-based technology used in cinema projection. The modular design allows further scalability to higher powers.
In conjunction with DILAS’ 638nm, 40W fiber-coupled module, the blue and red emitting modules only need to be combined with solid-state-laser-generated green light for true RGB projection.
