08 Jan 2013 The DigiPile (TM) is a Thermopile Detector which integrates a proprietary ADC to provide a digital output without needing costly additional components.
DigiPile combines a MEMS-based sensing element with a fully integrated low noise amplifier, A/D converter and integrated ambient temperature sensor.
Benefits include reduced PCB space requirements, improved EMI resistance, and less need for components like low offset/low noise amplifier and filters.
The DigiPile is specifically designed for a range of OEM applications including thermometry, pyrometry, and non-contact temperature sensing.
