18 Dec 2012 The stabilization modules of DFB laser is a very common application of FBGs. The pump laser stabilizer acts as a reflective mirror outside pump laser module. It reflects a small portion of light back to laser diode cavity, so as to induce laser emission at the desired wavelength. The spectrum of this FBG stabilizer can be customized to fit the best performance of the laser output. They are applicable to pump lasers for EDFAs of 980 nm/1480 nm as well as for DWDM modules for the 1300 nm/1550 nm band. We are able to produce wavelength lockers at wavelengths such as 1064nm, even with PM fiber.
