Extended L band EDFA for high capacity communication networks

Amonics extended range L band DWDM EDFAs cover wavelength range from 1570 nm to 1620 nm with output power as high as 27 dBm and gain larger than 25 dB. Unliked the extended band EDFAs with other glass hosts, Amonics extended L band EDFAs use high reliability silica fibers. It will be more suitable for integrating in practical high capacitiy communication networks
