02 Apr 2012 Fiber laser welding head (FLWH) is ready to work with any commercially available large numerical aperture (NA) fiber laser. The fiber laser with divergence angle will be collimated by a collimating lens then reflected by a beam splitter to a focusing lens. Back working distance and focused spot size are depending on the numerical aperture (NA) of fiber laser.
The real-time image of the welded plane will be imaged to a CCD camera along the path orthogonal to the incident laser path. This imaging feature facilitates the inspection work on welding or cutting quality. The rigid and solid structure of welding head has made it a much reliable solution for welding and cutting application incorporated with fiber laser.
