Opus lasers now deliver up to 6W in an ultra compact housing

The opus family of lasers has become a popular option for applications such as Ti:sapphire pumping that need high beam quality and power in a compact head. At Photonics West the power range of the opus family was extended to a 5W & a 6W variant.

With zero stress mounts and shock absorbing feet, the opus range is built to withstand extremes of temperature, vibration and shock making them ideal for military and aeronautic applications.

The permenantly aligned optics and inbuilt temperature controls ensure stable performance and long lifetimes with minimal requirment for cooling or maintainance resulting a very low cost of ownership.

The intelligent RemoteCal feature allows complete remote access to the laser via the internet. This is capable of controlling the laser, running diagnostics and even performing minor services to ensure optimal performance at all times.
