24 Jan 2012 BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Photo Research Inc is proud to announce the introduction of the latest in the SpectraScan spectroradiometers series, the PR-740.
The PR-740, the next evolution of the PR-730 shares many of the PR-730’s attributes such as a cooled 512 element detector, multiple apertures and variable bandwidth. There are, however, two major differences between the PR-730 and PR-740 – sensitivity and speed.
The PR-740 boasts a sensitivity improvement of 20:1 over the PR-730, and a speed improvement of approximately 250:1! A 1 fL (3.4 cd/m2) measurement takes about 3 seconds! The sensitivity of the PR-740 (5E-6 with the 2° aperture) makes it possible to perform virtually all display testing, including contrast, gray scale linearity and gamma, spectrally!
