02 Dec 2011 The ventus was first launched in 2001 as a mid-powered green laser for scientific laboratories. The family has grown to offer a range of power from 50mW to 1.5W in a number of different laser heads. Laser Quantum has announced a redesign of this popular range into a more compact head and significant improvements in beam quality. Noise levels down from 2% to 0.5 (0.15% for the higher powers), and power stability from 2% to 0.4%. M2, divergence, and weight have also been improved.
