14 Jun 2011 A new generation of polymer filters for laser safety eyewear is now available from LASER COMPONENTS. Protection levels of L6 for CW and L8 for pulsed lasers for 1064 and 532nm were only available in a glass eyewear option, now the polymer filter combined with the stylish XC frame offers a light-weight and comfortable solution.
The 2 filter options currently available cover a wide range of wavelengths from the UV to NIR, and meet EN 207:2009, ANSI 136.1, and ANSI Z87+ (high impact) safety standards.
