17 May 2011 LASER COMPONENTS is pleased to announce SemiNex’s 4-pin fibre coupled diode laser. The device is available in 1450nm, 1470nm, 1532nm, and 1550nm, or can be specially made for any custom wavelength between 1300nm and 1600nm.

The 4-pin laser has a high slope efficiency of 50%, up to 4W power, small form factor of 33cm2 and high volume availability. The device is equipped with a back-facet photodiode monitor and 105µm/125µm 0.22 NA optical fibre; laser light is emitted through a 650nm aiming beam. This device is maximised for aerospace, communications, LIDAR, military and medical applications.
