16 May 2011 EKSMA OPTICS introduces new BBO and KD*P Pockels Cells. New Pockels cells feature robust, compact design and high contrast ratio. Crystals are installed in to dry cells and AR coated with high damage threshold dielectric thin film coatings. KD*P Pockels cells are primary choice for low repetition rate high pulse energy lasers whereas BBO cells are the first choice for high power DPSS lasers operating at multi kHz rates.
Typical applications are Q-switching, pulse selection, CW beam chopping, laser cavity dumping and coupling light into and from regenerative amplifiers. High voltage drivers for mentioned applications also can be provided.
Pockels cells are assembled at the company facility in Vilnius, Lithuania.
