Spectrum Stabilized Laser

06 Apr 2011

In Raman Spectroscopy, it is essential to utilize a clean, narrow bandwidth laser due to the effect that the sharpness and stability of the delivered light source has on the quality of the Raman peaks. B&W Tek’s patented CleanLaze® stabilization technology provides the correct center wavelength and avoids the phenomenon of “mode hopping.” In addition, the laser output power can be adjusted in the software from 0 - 100%, allowing you to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio and minimize integration time.

The CleanLaze® spectrum stabilized laser features a linewidth as narrow as 0.03nm with a TEM00 beam at 785nm. It is available in either free space, single-mode fiber coupled, or multi-mode fiber coupled configurations. It has excellent long term power stability (<5% pk-pk), wavelength drift as low as 0.01nm/oC, and can be TTL modulated up to 100kHz.

The CleanLaze® is the ideal laser source for Raman Spectroscopy (available in both turnkey and OEM configurations) and is the only spectrum stabilized laser module on the market featuring USB power control.
