11 Feb 2011 To complement their existing range of laser diode modules, a new low cost laser line module has been added, for applications where there is minimal space available and where low price is a critical consideration.
Measuring just Ø11.7mm x 30mm long, there are two choices for these 635nm modules, one with output power < 1mW, and the other 2mW.
The module includes a glass lens and drive electonics (incorporating an auto power control IC) and produces a laser line with fan angle of approximately 120º.
The unit operates from a 3VDC supply or battery.
