01 Jan 2010 UVolle Corona Cameras - a family of compact solar blind bi-spectral cameras capable of transmitting in the ultraviolet c (UVC) superimposed on the visible. UVolle is the smallest precise daytime corona camera. It can be used to inspect distribution and small substation constructions for corona sources, to reduce damage caused by partial discharge.
UVolle can see in the 240-260 nm range during bright daylight and can sense UV light produced by an over voltage problem. It is easily pulled and instantaneously ready to be used to point & shoot the detected events. A corona scale displays the severity of the inspected corona and is printed on saved images.
