08 Jun 2010 Our range of fiber-coupled high-power laser diodes is increasing more and more; for example, with the K41 and CS405 series. At a wavelength of 405 nm, the output power ranges from 20 mW to 100 mW. In addition to an outstanding coupling efficiency, the fiber connection features long-term stability and optimal beam performance. If desired, we may also equip the fiber end with an optical connector.
The K41 series emits up to 100 mW from a 60 µm multimode fiber with an NA of 0.22 and up to 30 mW from a 3 µm single-mode fiber with an NA of 0.12.
The CS405 series achieves an even better coupling efficiency, emitting 60 mW from a 4.5 µm fiber with an NA of 0.06.
All components are delivered in a robust metal housing. Depending on the design, the powerful laser diodes are also available with a thermoelectric cooler and/or a thermistor. They are thus ideally suited for use in medical technology, material processing, illumination, printing, biochemical analyses, or scientific applications. |
